In front of you, lay our appetizers which can be dumbed down to only three ingredients – puff pastry, pears and blue cheese. Usually, few elements of the meal mean that there’s also not too many complicated steps between an idea and first byte. Also true with our snacks!

  • 2-3 sheets puff pastry
  • 2-3 pcs pear medium-sized
  • 200 grams blue cheese or 7 oz
  • 1 pcs egg for brushing the pastries
  • melted butter also for brushing
  1. Cut your puff pastry into squares
  2. Slice the pears and blue cheese
  3. Now simply put the pear slices and cheese on top of  the puff pastry
  4. Brush pastry with egg yolk and a little bit of butter
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes at a 375 degrees F (190 C)
  6. If the cakes are crispy and golden brown, they’re ready to exit the oven
  7. Let your masterpiece cool for 5 to 10 minutes
  8. Enjoy!
