Guilt free waffels

Flaxseed Waffles – The Breakfast Of Champions

August happens to accommodate the National Waffle Day. So, on 24th of August ready your waffle irons and be prepared to worship the almighty god of golden waffles. Of course, there’s no wrong time when it comes to healthy flaxseed waffles. Therefore you don’t have to wait until the end of the August, feel free to start right away.

This post is about a healthier option than your regular wheat flour waffles. Gluten free flax seeds, rice flour, and oat flour should take care of that. What also seems to be missing is white sugar. Maple syrup and applesauce stepped up gladly for that role. The ingredients listed in the recipe gave us about 12 medium-small sized waffles which are perfect for four regular waffle fans ore one waffle superfan.

Shall we roll up our sleeves and start fixing them healthy waffles? You bet!
